Christene Browne is an award-winning filmmaker, editor, producer, curator, and educator. The first Black woman in Canada to direct and write a dramatic feature film, with her 1999 film Another Planet, her works spans both film and television. In 1990, she started her own production company, Syncopated Productions Inc.
