Dany Laferrière

Dany Laferrière is a writer, author, journalist and host. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he moved to Canada in the late 1970s, he won a Genie Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for adapting his debut novel “How to Make Love to a Negro Without Getting Tired.” Laferrière made his directorial debut with the 2004 comedy How to Conquer America in One Night. which was based on his novel of the same name.
