Karen Chapman is an award-winning filmmaker whose work spans documentary, narrative, and interactive-virtual reality storytelling. Chapman in an alumnus of the TiFF Talent Lab, HotDocs Accelerator, TIFF 2020 Accelerator, Cineplex Film Program, and more. Her virtual reality work They Should be Flowers was nominated for a Canada Screen Award for Best Immersive Non-Fiction. Chapman has also worked on several television series including Black Life: Untold Stories and Odd Squad.
