Omolola Ajao

Omolola Ajao is a Nigerian-Canadian filmmaker, screenwriter, and artist. In 2020 she was one the filmmakers that took part in the Being Black in Toronto short film series that showcased the realities of the Black experience in Toronto. Being Black in Toronto won a 2021 Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction in a Documentary Series. Ajao’s work covers an array of topics including the immigration, identity, and love.
