Richard B. Pierre is an Oakland, California born and Toronto-based award-winning filmmaker, writer, editor and programmer. His works, which span narrative and documentary, have played at numerous film in Canada and the United States. The founder of Afro Flix production company, Pierre is also a Film and Industry Programmer at the Canadian Film Festival and a Film Programmer at the Reelworld Screen Institute.
