Weyni Mengesha is a theatre director, composer, producer, and filmmaker. She served as the Artistic Director of Soulpepper Theatre and an executive producer of the hit series Kim’s Convenience. Mengesha has made several short films and directed episodes of 21 Black Futures and Pretty Hard Cases.
