Michèle Stephenson is an award-winning Canadian-Haitian-Panamanian filmmaker, writer, producer, and former human rights attorney. She is the co-founder of the Rada Film Group and frequently tells stories of resistance and identity in marginalized communities. Her documentary Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project won the 2023 U.S. Grand Jury Prize as the Sundance Film Festival; and her documentary Stateless was nominated for Best Feature Length Documentary at the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards.
